Roasted Dice Studio, through their music label Roasted Dice Echoes, will officially release their 150th digital single, “Guard-shita no Ibuki ni Sasowarete” (Enticed by the Breath Under the Overpass), on May 19, 2026.
This playful and upbeat jazz-pop number was inspired by the real-life culinary haven “Ibuki Udon,” a place Chief Roasted Wizard kengo frequently visits whenever he is in Kichijoji. The track elegantly captures the intimate dialogue between a hungry soul and a sublime bowl of noodles that unravels a frantic daily routine, brought to life through a dynamic arrangement and vivid lyricism.
The song details the absolute satisfaction of the “Ibuki Special,” packed with a grand orchestra of freshly fried shrimp, chicken, maitake mushroom, and chikuwa tempura. Slurping the noodles down in a golden-colored broth inflected with deep dried-sardine flavors, grated ginger, and green onions offers a comforting warmth.
