World Setting
“20 Dice Duel” is set in a world of fantasy and adventure. In this world, ancient magic and modern technology coexist, and various races and creatures live together. Players fight to become the strongest duelist in this world.
Background Story
Long ago, there were powerful beings known as the “Gods of Dice” in this world. They used magical 20-sided dice to determine the fate of the world. However, one day, the Gods of Dice disappeared, leaving behind only the 20-sided dice imbued with their power.
As time passed, the 20-sided dice became legendary, and it is said that those who obtain their power will gain infinite strength. Players fight to obtain these legendary 20-sided dice and become the strongest duelist.
Rules
Preparation
- Each player prepares five 20-sided dice.
- prepare the score sheet.
- Players take turns rolling the dice.
Game Progression
- Player 1 rolls five 20-sided dice and writes the results in any of the nine columns. Each column can have up to five numbers.
- Next, Player 2 rolls five 20-sided dice and writes the results in any of the nine columns.
- This alternates until each column has five numbers.
- It is possible to write in the same column multiple times.
Determining the Winner
- For each column, compare the strength of the hands based on poker rankings. The strength of the hands is as follows (in descending order):
- 13 13 13 13 13 Five of a Kind
- 13 13 13 13 11 Four of a Kind
- 13 13 13 12 12 Full House
- 10 11 12 13 14 Straight
- 10 10 10 13 15 Three of a Kind
- 10 10 13 13 19 Two Pair
- 10 10 14 19 20 One Pair
- 1 3 9 14 18 Sum of all numbers
- Determine the winner for each column and count the number of columns won.
- The player who wins the most columns out of the nine is the winner of the game.
